GlimKind is a well-being companion app that helps you build gentle habits around movement, recovery, and rest. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information, such as your email address, when you create an account.
- Device information and app usage data, used to keep the app working reliably.
- Your Apple Health authorization status (whether you have granted or declined access).
- With your explicit permission via Apple Health: steps, active energy, heart rate, and sleep data.
- The personalization settings resulting from your onboarding choices.
Onboarding
Your onboarding choices are processed locally on your device. We do not store your individual answers. We only save the resulting personalization settings for your account.
How we use your information
- To provide and personalize app features, such as daily companion messages and personalized content.
- To help you record and review your movement, recovery, and sleep rhythm.
- To maintain, debug, and improve GlimKind.
What we never do
- Your health data is never used for advertising targeting.
- We do not sell your personal data.
Health data and local processing
- We process health data locally on your device whenever possible, and we avoid storing health details we do not need.
- If cloud sync of any health data is ever required for a feature, we will tell you clearly and ask for your consent first.
- You can revoke Apple Health access at any time in iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices.
Your rights and choices
- You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting privacy@glimkind.com.
- You can revoke health permissions at any time without losing access to the rest of the app.
Data retention and security
We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the service, and we use industry-standard safeguards to protect it.
Children
GlimKind is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
